Abstract:Conductingbending performance testsonstainlessstelreinforcedconcrete(HSS-RC)beamsand stainlessteel reinforced Ultra-High Performance Concrete(HSS-UHPC)beams has yieldedtheflexural behaviorof HSS-UHPC beams. Theresultsdemonstrate thatwhen stainlesstelbarsareusedinconjunction with UHPC,there isasignificant enhancement in bothload-bearingcapacityandcrackresistance.Thereiforcementratioandcross-sectionalarea arepositivelycorrelated with thespecimen’sload-bearingcapacity,whiletheyare negativelycorelatedwithcrack width.Theassumptionofaflatcross sectionremains valid forboth HSS-RCand HSS-UHPC beams.The formulas forcalculatingthe bending capacityand crack widthof rdinaryreinforcedconcreteinthe"Codefor DesignofConcrete Structures"GB5Ol0-2O10arestillapplicabletoHRC beams.Byconsidering the tensile properties of UHPC inthe tensile zone,formulas forcalculating the bendingcapacityand crack width of HSS-UHPC beamshave ben proposed.This studyprovidesanexperimental basisandtheoretical foundationforthe design and engineering application of stainless steel reinforced concrete beams.
