Abstract:The energy method is favored by relevant researchers because it can avoid the intermediate and complex force analysis in the study of the instability and failure of space steel structures.Large-span space steel structure is an important structural form in engineering.Due to the large number of degrees of freedom,the stress and strain in the process of structural instability and failure are complex.Therefore,from the perspective of energy,the local stabilityof the space steel structure roof is affected.and overall stability for evaluation and research.By analyzing the failure mode of the local trussof the space steel structure,a simplified mechanical model of the structure is established.According to the principle of energy conservation,the total energy equation considering the work and strain energy of the external load is obtained.The catastrophe theory is used to deduce the local failure of the structure.Stable critical load and critical stress.Through the inversion analysis of the monitoring data in the structural health monitoring system,the dynamic model of the overallstrain energy entropyof the structure is established,and the limit state equation of the strain energy entropy value is constructed using the catastrophe theory,and the overall stability of the structure is analyzed according to the stability criterion of the potential function.Finally,the proposed method is analyzed and researched on the actual project,and it is concluded that the existing space roof structure has good stability and can meet the needs of structural safety operation and maintenance.The research results show that the local stability of the structure is not only related to the parameters of the structural material,but also related to the local length and the ratio of the pipe diameter;during the instability process of the space structure,the stress concentration will cause the decrease of the entropy value of the strain energy;the analysis results are consistent with the structural field. Operation and maintenance shows that the local and overall structure are relatively stable.Therefore,the established analysis method can provide a theoretical basis for the stability analysis of spatial steel structures.
