Abstract:Due to the advantages no need to re-mesh simple operation,the mesh demation method is widelyused in the field shape optimization. However,the traditional mesh demation method driven by a single reference configuration is prone to mesh element demity boundary mesh interference shape optimization design in compact design spaces,which can lead to mesh demation failure interrupt the process shape optimization design.To address the above challenges,this paper proposes a mesh demation method driven by diversity reference configurations.First all,the diversity reference configurations are constructed in the design space, obtain their mesh models.Secondly,the nodes at the boundary the mesh model are selected as control points, each reference configuration mesh demation to the same target shape independently based on the radial basis function interpolation method.Then, the mesh quality are checked after the demation each reference configuration by developing mesh element quality indicators.Next,the finite element model with the best mesh quality after mesh demation is selected analysis, carry out subsequent shape optimization design,where the displacement control points are the input the structural stress after analysis is the output.Finaly,the method is verified by the two-dimensional axisymmetric turbine disk.The results shows that the mesh demation failure rate new method is reduced by 59% compared with the traditional method, the weight reduction is increased by 46% ,which can be verified that the new method can reduce the mesh demation failure rate ensure the smooth implementation shape optimization in tight design space.
