Abstract：ObjectiveTo compare the safety and clinical efficacy spinal endoscopic transforaminal endoscopic spine system-integrated spinal endoscopy evolution（TESSYS-ISEE） technology and TESSYS technology in the treatment lumbar disc herniation（LDH）. MethodsA tal 44 patients lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion treated with standard percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discecmy（PTED） performed in the Neurosurgery from January 2O19 January 2O25 were analyzed retrospectively. According the different surgical techniques adopted，the patients were divided in the TESSYS-ISEE group and the TESSYS group. The age，gender，sympm duration，lesion segment，visual analogue scale （VAS），and Oswestry disability index（Oswestry disability index） the two groups patients before the operation was compared. The intraoperative and posperative relevant indicars，such as ODI and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association（JOA） score， the two groups patients were compared. The intraoperative indicars included the number X-ray fluoroscopy，operation time， and the amount upper joint bone resection. The posperative indicars included the incidence complications，VAS，ODI，and JOA score. ResultsThere was no statistically significant diference in general data between the two groups（ P>0.05） . The number X-ray fluoroscopy in the TESSYSISEE group was （ 10.48±2.35 ）times，which was significantly less than that in the TESSYS group （ .18.74±3.35） times，and the amount upper joint bone resection in the TESSYS-ISEE group was （2 （29.33±1.62）% the bone resection，which was significantly more than that in the TESSYS group （27.94±2.10）% . The difference was statistically significant（ P<0.05） . No complications occurred in either group after the operation. There was no statistically significant diference in VAS， ODI and JOA scores at 1 day，1 week and 3 months after the operation （ P>0.05 ）. ConclusionsThe TESSYS-ISEE is safe and effective in the treatment LDH. Compared with TESSYS，it has the advantages fewer fluoroscopy times and a larger amount upper joint bone resection.
