Rectangular Array Optimization Based on Improved Adaptive Genetic Algorithm

(Scholof ElectricalandInformationEngineering,Anhui UniversityofScienceandTechnology,HuainanAnhui23201,China) Abstract:Objective To solve the problems of high peak sidelobeand low radiation directivity in multi-constrained rectangular sparse array. Methods A comprehensive optimization algorithm based on the improved adaptive genetic algorithm was proposed.Based on adaptive genetic algorithm,the algorithm adopted the roulete strategy and the elite retention strategy.In consideration of the constraints of array spacing comprehensively,the initial matrix was constructed by introducing thereal-valued intermediate initial population transformation to the real distance interval,which reduced the search space of the algorithmand improved the optimization eficiency.Finall,the control population fitnessconcentration mechanism was added in the process of adaptive cross-variation so that the algorithm gotridof local optimization and avoided individual prematurity in the later stage of evolution.Results The simulation results proved that the new algorithm was able to suppressefectively the peak sidelobe level of rectangular aray pattern. Conclusion The new algorithm has a stable optimization ability and the significant improvement to the optimization effect of reducing the peak sidelobe level.
