Abstrat:[Objective] The studyaims to examine safetyconcernsstemmingfrom the absence of limits for migratable elements and phthalates in polyvinyl chloride (PVC)flooring as percurent standards.[Methods]This paper delves into relevant domesticand international standardsand summarizespertinenttestingmethodologies.Atotalof30sampleswere tested foreight migratableelements andsixphthalates.Results]Thefindingsrevealthatantimony,mercuryandselenium wereabsent,whilebariumwaspresentinallsamples atrelativelyhigherconcentrationsthanotherelements.Leadwas also detected inallsamples but atconcentrations lower than thoseofbarium.Additionallyvarying batches exhibited arsenic, cadmiumandchromiumlevelsexceeing thedetectionlimitNotably,significant quantitiesofthephthalates DNP,DINP, andDIDPweredetected.[Conclusion] Consequently,migratable elements in PVCflooring samples pose notablehealth risks, with phthalates meriting particular scrutiny as potentially harmful substances.
