Abstract：In the context of the nation's high regard for the creative transformation and innovative developmentof Chinese culture，the work of ancient books preservation holds significant importance.The preservation of ancient books i China is characterized by a vast number of surviving ancient books and diverse cariers，while also facing challenges such as relative lag in the legal system and low level of public participation. Under theorganization and implementationof theNaotional CenterforAncient BooksPreservation，theAncient Books Preservationand Conservation Association of China has emerged to mobilize and guide social forces in participating in the preservation of ancient books.Both entities adhere to theirrespective roles，collaborating and supporting each other.This paper discusses the role and characteristics of mobilizing and guiding social forces in ancient books preservation from the perspective of industryorganizations，combining theoryand practice to analyzethe practiceof theassociation in expanding participation channels byreplying on its branchesand building participation platforms.This paper looks ahead to further reflectionsand explorations onhow to promote broader participationof social forces inancient books preservation work，andofers constructive suggestions regarding policy formulationand the establishment of incentive mechanisms.
