Abstract Inorderto understand the currentdevelopment trend of wheat nitrogenuse eficiency research,basedon he bibliometric methodandthe databaseoftheWebofScience (WOS)corecollctionand China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),a visualanalysis isconductedontheliterature related to nitrogenuse eficiencyof wheat in the databasefrom 2004 to 2O23.Theresults show thattheresearch literature in this field is generallon therise,mainly from China,theUnitedStatesandIndia,thepublishedarticlesare891,259and197,respectively.Theinstitution with thehighestpublication frequencyis the MinistryofAgriculture&Rural Afairs.Research cooperation inthis field abroad is relatively close,and acompact international research network hasbeen established.Theresearch hotspots mainly focusonaspectssuchas "nitrogen""wheat" "fertilization"and"utilization eficiency",while keywords like "organic fertilizer""quality""drylandwheat" "wheat yield""soil shape"and"chemical fertilizer"have increased significantly in the past three yearsand are currentlyat the forefront ofresearch.
