Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore therelationshipbetween speed skating economy(SSE),athletic performance, and lower extremity kinematics.Method3O excellentmale long-distance speedskaters wererecruited to measure theanaerobic threshold speed and SSE at 70% , 80% and 90% anaerobic threshold speed with portable gas metabolizer. The inertial motion capture system obtained the Kinematic indicators of 80% anaerobic threshold speed.ResultsSports performance and SSE 0 r=0.706~0.743,P<0.001 )showed a high correlation;SSE was highly correlated with single step length ( r=0.603,P= 0.016),and moderately correlated with double support time ( r=0.454,P=0.034) . It was moderately correlated with the acceleration of thigh( 'r=0.512,P=0. 032, ),shank( r=0. 475,P=0. 041Ω) and foot (r=0.431,P=0.029) .Itwas moderately correlated with hip joint ( r=0.562,P=0.035) and highly correlated with knee flexion angle ( 0.027).There was a moderate correlation between ankle rotation angle (r=0. 435,P=0. 029) )and foot sagittal axis acceleration ),and a high correlation between the ratio of peak acceleration of vertical axis and frontal axis ( r=0.712,P=0.019 ).ConclusionElite athletes have beter SSE.Adequate skating distance and time, appropriate skating angle and timing and smooth movement connection are conducive to improving the SSE of athlete
