Noise Optimization of Vehicle-used Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Based on Surrogate Model

【Abstract]This paper studies the noise ofa Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM)forelectric vehicles.Through theanalysisofthecontributionofdiffrentelectromagneticexcitations tothenoise,thepaperidentifies keyfactorssuchas motor torquerippleandspatial zero-orderelectromagneticforce,aswellastheircontributions totheordernoiseindifferent speedranges.Moreover,through thesimulationanalysisofthenoiseundertheconditionsofeccentricityandcurrentharmonics, the changes in theorder noiseafterconsidering practicalfactors are obtained.The Kriging method isused to create an electromagneticsurogatemodel,whichcanquicklycalculatetheelectromagneticforceandtorqueripplebasedonthedesign parametersofthestatorandrotor.Onthebasisofthesurogate model,thegeneticalgorithmisusedformulti-objective optimization.Theorder noiseobtainedfromthesimulation is significantlyreducedcompared withtheoriginalscheme.The good consistencybetweenthesimulationandtheexperimentisverified throughthenoisetestoftheoptimized prototypeonthetest bench.
