【AbstractIToaddressthechallenges intecommunicationbetwe infrastructureand vehicles in intellgent transportation systems,thispaperappliesteIntelligentReflectingSurface(IRS)totheintellgenttransportationsystembasedonvisiblelight transmission,anddeeplyanalyzesitschanneltransmissionmodelandtheinfluenceofroadinfrastructureparameters.Byodeling theNon-Line-of-Sight (NLOS)channelbetweentheinfrastructureandvehicles,thetransmisionperformanceofsignals inthe NLOSchannelisanalyzed.Theclosed-formanalyticalsolutionsofthesystemperformancearederivedforthebiterrorrate, downtimeprobabilityandblockerorrateoftheIRS-asstedNOScommunication.Theimpactofthecompoundpintingeror onthebiterrorate,downtimeprobabilityandblockerorratoftheI-asistedNLOScommuncationsysemisalydThe bit error rate performance under M -aryPhase Shift Key (MPSK)modulation and traditional key control modulation is also analyzed.TheexperimentalresultsshowthatundertheIR-asistedNLOStransmissioncondition,whenthelinkfolowsthe double-RayleighdistributionortheRayleigh-Ricecombineddistribution,increasing thedistancebetween thetransceiver devicesand theheightof thestreetlampwillincreasethebiterorrate.Increasingthedowntimethresholdcan increase the downtime probability.Increasing the numberof transmited bitblockscan improvetheblock errorrate.MPSK modulationcan reducethesystemiterorratemorerapidly,ndtheperformanceisenancedasthemodulationorderincreases.Afterconsidering thepointingerrortoesstemitsitrorate,dowtieprobabilitydblockrorateallrease.propoedean effectively enhance system communication performance.
