Associationof homocysteineand high riskof stroke intheelderlystratifiedby ageandhypertension

Stratifiedbyageandthepresenceorabsenceofhypertension，unconditionalLogisticregresion analysiswasconductedto studytheassociationbetween Hcylevelandthehigh-riskofstrokeintheelderly.Results：Comparedwiththeelderlywithan Hcy level of <11.40μmol⋅L-1 ，the high-risk of strokein the elderly withan Hcy level of11.4O-<14.10 μmol·L-1 and 14.10- < （204号 17.16μmol⋅L-1 increased by1.41 times and1.56 times respectively[OR：1.41（1.33-1.52）and1.56（1.44-1.71）]. Compared withthe elderly without hyperhomocystinemia（HHcy），the high-risk of stroke in theelderlywith HHcy increased by 71%|OR 1.71（1.46-2.O1）].There wasaresistive interaction betweenadvancedage and high Hcylevelonthehigh-riskof stroke（ P =0.031）， and there was a synergistic interaction between hypertension and high Hcylevel onthe high-risk of stroke（ P =0.013）. Conclusion：IisofgreatsignificancetocontrolthelevelofHcyinthebodyandformulateindividualizedinterventionplanconsidering the ageand blood pressure control of the elderly to build adefense linefor stroke in the elderly.
