Comparative Study at Egg Quality of Partridge in Different Ages

Abstract：This studyaimed to investigate thequalitydiferences ofeggs from caged partridges at diferentages （300 d，50o d，and 8Oo d）to provide a scientific basis for partridge egg selection and breeding management.By measurng parameterssuch as egg weight，eggshell weight，egg shape index，eggshellstrength，eggshellthickness， Haughunit，yolk weight，yolk ratio，andalbumen height，andperforming correlationanalysis，thestudy systematically assessd the changes inegg quality withage.The results showed that：（1）Egg weight and eggshell thickness significantly increased withage（ P <0.05），whereaseggshell weight，eggshell strength，and yolk ratio first increased and thendecreased，peakingat 500d;（2） TheHaughUnitof eggsat 30O d was thehighest（83.68HU）;（3） Theegg shape index was significantly negatively correlated with eggshell strength（ P <0.05），and the eggshell thickness of eggs at 800 d（0.31mm） was significantly greater than that of other ages.The study concluded that the eggs from partridges at5OOdhadthebestcomprehensivequality，and itisrecommendedthatinbreeding production，highquality eggs be selected based on egg quality indicators.
