Abstract:InodertoexploetenitrogenremovalfectandNOissonofspongeion-Myriophllumiro-M)verticillatderived biochar-basedologcalditchinthceoffarlandwateringforduderstoconditios.Inthissudysixpilotaleo. algaederivedbiochar-basedecologicalditchsimulationsystemswereconstructedtoexploretheefectsofspongeironcoupledwith powderedandgranularbiochar-basedecologicalditchesonnitrogenremovalandNOsinkfunctionoffarmlandwithdiferentcarbon nitrogenratios.Theresultsshowedthatcomparedwiththeiron-freebiocharecologicalditch(CK),theadditionofspongeironbiochar couldimprovetheremovalrateoftotalnitrogen(T).Amongthem,powderedcarboncouldsignificantlynhancetheNO-Nsinkofthe systemand transform theditchfromanatmospheric NOemisionsource toanetabsorptionsink.Whenthechemicaloxygendemand (COD)TN=30/5,theTremovalrateofthespongeiron-powderbiocharbasedeologicalditchwasashighas4006%,andthe NO-N absorption rate was 2.59μg⋅m-2⋅h-1 ,which was significantly higher than that of the ecological ditch without adding and adding sponge iron-particle biochar.The NO N removal rate in the ecological ditcheswas the main contributor to the TN removal rate,and the N2O emissiofluxassignificantlyegativelycorrelatedwiththediolvedorgaiccarbonconcentration,CODandtotalorganicarbon(OC) removalate.TheTNabsorbedbythetwoaquaticplantsfurtherexplainedthebiologicaldrivingmechanismofsimultaneousenhancement fdenitrificatioandNOsikiniropowderiocarbasedeologicaldichs.heesultssowedtatteon-M.verticilltadie powderbiochar-basedecologicalditchhadagoodefectonthetreatmentoffarmlanddrainageformedbyrainstormconditionsandcould formanetN2O absorption sink together with plants.
