Abstract：Xiamen eclecticarchitectural styleisa kindof designstyle formed in Xiamenin theearly 20th century with regional characteristics，integrating southern Fujian and western architectural elements.These eclectic buildings embody the development of the aesthetic tendency of architectural art in the region.Taking the surviving eclectic buildings and historical data in Xiamen as examples，the eclectic architectural style of Xiamen is traced and itis concluded that the various stages of its development were characterized by the diversity of design methods，the plurality of facade decorations，and the tendency of pragmatism in the construction of the buildings，and demonstrate its long-term impact on the modern urban construction and architectural design of Xiamen.
