Abstract: A modeling was conducted with the background of pipe jacking through adjacent subway shield tunels in the coastal area.The results were compared with measured data to verify the effectiveness of the model.Thevariation characteristics,influencing factors and sensitivity of mechanical properties of shield tunnel during pipe jacking process under different working conditions were analyzed.Results show that the vertical upward pipe jacking construction will cause the shield tunnel below to float as a whole,and the maximum deformation is directly below the pipe jacking axis.When the pipe jacking is parallel to the tunnel, it has a great influence on the deformation of the adjacent shield tunnel.Particularly,when the angle between the parallel jacking facade is -45∘ ,the tunnel deformation is the largest,which is an unfavorable working condition.The smaller the distance between the pipe jacking and the tunnel,the greater the cross-sectional deformation of the shield tunnel,and the greater the change of the axial force and bending moment of the tunnel adjacent to the pipe jacking.The larger the diameter ofthe jacking pipe,the greater the cross-sectional deformation of the adjacent tunnel during jacking,the greater the change of axial force and bending moment. When the correlation between the diameter of the pipe jacking and the distance is greater than O.5,the sensitivity of the pipe jacking diameter is greater than the distance between the two.
