The Effect of Thermal Conductivity of Separator on Safety PerformanceofBatteries

Abstract:To improve the internal temperature environment of power batteriesinnewenergyvehiclesand enhancebattery safety,AramidNanofibers (ANF)arecomposited with ZnO nanosheet-coated AlOmicrospheres (Al2O3@ZnO⋅ ),followed bysuction filtrationand hot-pressing,toobtainan ANF/AlO3@ZnO composite separator withhighthermal stabilityandhigh thermalconductivity.TheANF,whichexhibitsexcellentheatresistance, ensures the morphological integrity of the composite separator at temperatures exceeding 200C . The ZnO coating bridgesadjacent Al2O3 microspheres,constructing a continuous thermal conduction network.This structure raises the thermal conductivity of the ANF/Al2O3@ZnO composite separator to 1.04W/m⋅K .Batteries employing this separatormaintain highspecificcapacity,lowdecay,and excelentcyclingstabilityevenunder harsh temperature conditions.
