Abstract:Toaddressthe issue thatthecasting mold foracertaincommercialvehiclecrossbeam hasahigh cost proportionand along manufacturing cycle under thescenariosof itslarge overall dimensionsandsmall-batch trial production,thisstudyaims torealize the mold-free,low-cost,andhigh-eficiency manufacturing of thecrossbeam. Taking theaforementioned commercialvehiclecrossbeamastheresearch carier,thisstudyexplores thedigitalmodel processing,additive strategy,prototypeprinting,staticperformance,andeconomiceficiencyinthefabricationof large sized automotive components via arc additive manufacturing.
