Abstract:To improve theaccuracy and efficiency of automotive component durability tests and addressthe issue thatuniaxialload spectracannottrulyreflectthemultiaxial stressstate,this studyproposesamultiaxial programblock spectrumcompilation method basedon multiaxial rainflow projectionand Miner’s linear cumulative damage theory, and achieves process automation using the Python development environment.Takingthe steering arm rubber bushing of acertainvehicle model astheresearch object,verificationsconducted through bench testsandfiniteelement simulations.Theresultsshow thatthemultiaxial program block spectrum is highlyconsistent with theroadtestresults intermsofdamagelocationanddamagedegree,caneffectivelyreproducemultiaxialfatiguedamage,andsignificantly shortens the testandcalculation time,providingan eficient andreliable load input solution forcomponent-level multiaxial durabilitytests.
