Abstract:Employmentservesasthefoundationofpeople'slivelihoodsandconstitutesacrucialissueconcerningsocial harmony,stability,andeven economic growth.BasedondatafromA-share listedcompaniesonShanghaiandShenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2O9 to 2O23,this essy empiricallyexamines the impactof enterprise newquality productive forcesonemployment.Thefindingsreveal thatthe developmentofnewqualityproductiveforcesinenterprises isa significant means of boosting employmentlevels.Mechanism tests indicate thatcompetitiveness optimizationand eficiencyenhancementarethecoredrivers throughwhichnewqualityproductiveforces expandemploymentscales,with morepronounced efectsobserved inhigh-tech enterprises,state-owned enterprises,andgroups benefiting fromtalent atraction policies or low household registration barriers.Furthermore,enterprisenew quality productive forcesalso contribute to improving employment structures and enhancing employment stability.These conclusions provide empirical evidence for evaluating thedevelopmentaloutcomes ofenterprisenewqualityproductiveforces andofernewinsights for stabilizing employment and safeguarding livelihoods.
