The Impact of Industry-University-Research Innovation Consortium Collaboration on the Core and Critical Technology Innovation Performance of Leading Enterprises

Abstract:Basedon panel data from leading manufacturing enterprises in China from 2O14 to 2O23,thisessayintegrates theknowledge-based viewandinstitutional theory toempiricallyanalyzetheinfluencemechanismsofthebreadth and depth of industry-university-research innovation consortium collaboration on the core and critical technology innovation performance of leading enterprises.The findings indicate thatboth thebreadthanddepthof industryuniversity-researchinnovationconsortiumcolaborationpositivelyafectthecoreandcritical technologyinnovation performanceof leading enterprises.Government subsidiesweaken thepositive efects of the breadth and depth of industryuniversity-researchinnovationconsortiumcollaborationoncoreandcriticaltechnologyinnovationperformance. Compared tonon-state-owned leading enterprises,state-owned leading enterprises exhibitastronger positive ffectof the breadthanddepthof industry-university-research innovationconsortiumcollaborationoncoreandcritical technology innovation performance.
