The efficacy of magnetic resonance imaging combined with multi-slice spiral computed tomography in guiding the differentiationof small liver noduleswith liver cirrhosis background

【Abstract】 Objective To explore the diagnostic efcacy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and multislice spiral computed tomography (MSCT) in distinguishing the properties of smalliver nodules (MCNs) in the background of cirhosis.MethodsA retrospectiveanalysis wasconductedon the clinicaldata of 85 patients with MCNtreatedintheFirstAfliated Hospitalof HenanUniversityfromAugust2O21toJuly2O24.SingleMSCT examinationand MRI combined with MSCT examination were used fordiagnosis,and the diagnostic results of the two exanization were compared.The diagnostic eficacy of MRI combined with MSCT examination in distinguishing the nature of smalliver nodules inthe background of cirrhosis was summarized.ResultsIn terms of diagnosis,In terms of diagnosis,the joint examination detected atotalof 84smalliver rodules,including 36 malignant nodules and 48 benignnodules,whileatotalof 67 small liver nodules weredetected withthe MSCT,including 27malignant nodulesand 4O benign nodules.Pathological examination results were used as the "gold standard",and the consistencybetween the observation groupandthe pathological examinationresults was good and higherthan that of the MSCT. The diagnostic accuracy of the observation group was 98.82% (84/85), sensitivity was 100.00% (36/36), and specificity was 97.96% (48/49),all higher than those of the control group [78.82% (67/85),77.14% (27/35), (2 80.00% (40/50)] ( P <0.05).ConclusionIn the differentiation of benign and malignant nature of MCN nodules, compared with a single MSCT examination,the combined examination of MRI and MSCT has a bettr diagnostic effct,significant diagnosticaccuracy,sensitivity,andspecificity,and can provide effctive basis for the differentiation of benign and malignant nature of MCN nodules.
