Abstract: In order to meet the demand for the lightweight design of stage structures in seawater environments, this study focuses on the corrosion and wear properties of amorphous coatings on the surface of magnesium alloys. Through the analysis of the corrosion and wear problems faced by magnesium aloys in the application of stage structures,anFe-based amorphous coating was deposited on the surface of AZ31 magnesium alloy by explosion spraying. The corrosion and wear mechanisms of the coating were investigated. The results show that the Febased amorphous coating has not undergone obvious crystallization and has ahigh content of theamorphous phase.Compared with thebare magnesiumalloy substrate, the self-corrosioncurrent densityof the sample surface after coatingdepositionisreducedbyafactorof6.6,thehardnessisincreasedby12times,andthe wearratedecreased by 99.31% .The lamellar interface of the coating is a weak point for corrosion and wear, and the wear mechanism of the coating is fatigue delamination wearand oxidative wear. This study provides key technical support and atheoretical basis for the widespread application of magnesium alloys in the lightweight design of stage structures.
