Abstract：Thispaperexploresthenetprimaryproductivity（NPP）ofvegetationintheecologicalprotectionredlineareainorderto provideascienticbasisfortheevaluationofcarbonsequestrationservicefunctionintheredinearea.TakingGuangdongProvinceasan example，theCASAmodelwasusedtosimulatethespatialdistributionofNPPintheecologicalprotectionredlineareaofGuangdong Provincefrom2OOto2O23Thelongtermsequencemonitoringandstabiltyanalysiswerecariedout.TeresultshowedthatheNPP intheredlinesowedaslowgowthtrend，emainingstableasawholewithlitlefuctuationTheaverageanualcontributionatewas more than 25% .Thevegetation growth was ingoodconditionandthecarbonsequestrationservicefunction wassignificant.TheNPPmonitoringmethodintheedlinereaofcologicalprotectionproposedinthispaperealizesthapidandacurateevaluationftecarbon sequestration service function in the red line area.
