Abstract:Inthemonitoring,diagnosis,andclinicalmanagementoffundus diseases,thevisualizationoffundus Vascular structures isrecognzedasofparamount importanceforacuratepathologicalasessment.Laser specklecontrastimaging,a wellestablishednon-invasiveopticalimaging technique,iscapableofachieving vesselvisualizationandreal-timedynamic blood flow monitoring,ascontrast agents are notrequired.However,significantnoiseis inevitablyintroducedbythe conventionalcontrastcalculationmethodthatemploysafixed-sizeslidingwindow.Inthepresentstudylaserspecklecotrast imagesarealignedand fused withvascular structural imagesacquired viaLEDlightilumination.Subsequentto fusion,the compositeimagesaresegmentedintoregionalsubsets,andregion-specificoptimalpixelsareselectedbasedonthevariance criterionto performcontrastcomputation.Withinthe vascular boundaryregion,the geometryand dimensionsof theanalysis windoware dynamicalladjustedtoadapttothelocal vascularmorphology.Theresults indicate that thecontrasthas been enhanced by 67.61% .Moreover,in deeper vascular imaging,theproposed method is found to yield superior noise reduction performanceand enhanced imagequality,thereby providing support forthe diagnosis and management ofoculardiseases.
