Abstract:Telomeresare specialized structures atthe endsofchromosomes,composedofrepetitiveDNA sequences and associatedproteins.Theirprimaryroleistomaintainchromosomalstabilityandintegritybypreventingprogresivelossof chromosome ends and unwanted chromosomalrearrangements. Changes in telomere length are closely linkedtoa varietyof diseases,includingancerging,ndadiovasculasorders.erefre,easuingtelomerelengtholdssigicantiolgical importance.Drivenbytechnologicaldvancesadiversearayofmethodsfortelomere-lengthsessmenthasemerged,foring arich technicallandscape.Eachmethodcaiesdistinctadvantagesand limitations,makingitsuitable forparticularesearch goals andapplicationcontexts.Thisreview summarizescurrent findingsonall major telomere-measurement techniquesand offersrecommendations for future technologicaldevelopment,emphasizing the potentialofintegrating innovativeapproaches to enhancediseasediagnosisandtreatmentstrategies,providingresearchersandclinicians withaguideforselectingoptimal methodsand facilitating the translationof telomere biology into precisediagnosticsandpersonalizedtherapies.
