Abstract：Burning mouth syndrome （BMS），also known as orofacial pain syndrome ororal burning syndrome，isachronic diseasecharacterizedbyburningpainintheoralmucosawhichseverelyafectspatients’qualityofife.Inrecentyears，laser therapyhas graduallybecomearesearchhotspotforBMS treatmentduetoitsadvantagessuchasnon-invasiveness，analgesia， andpromotionoftissuerepair.Thisarticle systematicallyreviews thecurrentreseachstatusoflaser treatmentforBMSat home ad abroad inrecent years.Byanalyzing the action mechanisms andclinical aplications oflow-intensitylaser therapy， itis pointedout hatlaserscansignificantlyimproveBMSsymptomswithfeweradversereactions，providingevidence-based medical support for clinicians in applying laser therapy for BMS.
