Abstract:Flyash-slag-basedgeopolymerwassynthesizedusingasodiumsilicate-sodiumhydroxidecompositealkalineactivator. Theeffectsofthemodulusofsodiumsilicateonthemechanicalproperties,fluidity,reactionmechanism,andmicrostructural characteristicsofthealkali-activatedflyash-slaggeopolymerwereinvestigatedthroughcompresiveandflexuralstrengthtests, fluiditymeasurements,scanning electronmicroscopy(SEM),andX-raydifraction(XRD)analysis.Theresearch findingsindicate thatwithanincreaseinthewaterglassmodulus,thecompresivestrength,flexuralstrength,andflowabilityofthespecimens exhibitatrendofintllyincreasingandtendecreasingTehydrationproductsoftheflyash-slaggeopolymersprimarilycoprise SiO2 ,hydratedcalciumsilicategel(C-S-H),hydratedcalciumaluminosilicategel(C-A-S-H),hydratedsodiumaluminosilicate gel(N-A-S-H)and mullite ( Al6Si2O13 ).
