Abstract:TheKuanchengcaldera basinwas formedduring theYanshanianperiodunderintense tectonicmovements, explorationresultshaveconfirmedthatabundantgeothermalresourcesarehostedwithinthebasin.Toachievescientificdevelopment ratioalutilizationthesegeothermalresources,researchonthegeothermalformationmechanismgeneticmodelinthearea hasbenconductedtroughmeanssuchasgeotheralgeolgicalsurveys,geophsicalprospecting,hyrogeochemicalaalysis. Thestudyindicatesthatthehydrothermal-typegeothermalresourcesintheaeaaredominatedbyconductiveheat.Thegeothermal reservoiriscomposeddolomitetheWumishanFormation,withheatfromtheuppermantleconductionastheprimaryheat sourceresidual magmaticheatasasecondaryheatsource.Accordingtochemicalgeothermometercalculations,thegeothermal reservoir temperature ranges from 36qC to 51°C ,classifying itas amedium-low temperature reservoir.The circulation depthis approximately8OOmeters,whichisclosetotheexposeddepththegeothermalreservoir,furtherconfirmingthattheareahosts a conductive geothermal system.Water quality analysis reveals that the geothermalfluid in the areais the HCO ′3 -Ca ·Mg type, derivedfromatmosphericprecipitationthusatmosphericorigin.Theresearchresultscanprovideimportantreferencesforthe exploration,development, utilization geothermal resources in the Kuancheng caldera basin.
