Abstract ∵ In the lithium battery production process,battery quality inspection and automatic sorting are key steps to ensure product performance and safety.Traditional training often fails to simulate the complex system structure and interactions between multiple sensors and actuators,resulting in disconnect from real industrial scenarios.To addressthis issue,this research employs digital twin virtual simulation technology. Using BYtwin virtual simulation software and the Boto TIA Portal platform,a design method combining virtual simulation models and PLC control systems was proposed.A three-dimensional digital twin model of the lithium battery quality inspection workstation was established,with control signal configuration and PLC control logic designed.Real-time interaction between the virtual simulation model and PLC control was achieved.The platform was used to simulate the batery feeding,quality inspection,and automatic sorting processs, verifying the correctness of the model and control logic.This virtual simulation platform significantly improves training effectiveness. It provides trainees with an environmentcloser to industrial setings and ofers valuable reference for engineering design and debugging.
