Abstract:To study the evolutioncharacteristicsand drivingfactors of theecologicalenvironment in the metropolitanarea surrounding the MountTaiinShandong Province,fiveperiodsoflandusedataof themetropolitanarea surounding the Mount Tai in1980,1990,2000,2010and2020 were colected,the landuse dynamic degree,land use transfer matrix, geoscienceinformationatlas,and geographicaldetector were thenemployedtoanalyzetheevolutioncharacteristicsand driving forcesof the production-living-ecologyspace patern in the metropolitan areasurrounding the Mount Tai.The results show that the proportion of agricultural production space in the study area is always around 60% and ranks first. Urban living space,rural living space,and industrial andmining production space gradually increase,while water ecologicalspacefluctuates increased and other ecological spaces gradually decrease.Spatial shiftsprimarily involve the conversion of agricultural production space into urban living space and rural living space,whileecological spacemainly converts intoagricultural production space.Mutual conversionoccurred between rural residential space andagricultural production space.Production-living-ecology space shiftsare concentratedaround the built-upareas of Jinan City and Tai'an City,with the most significant changes observedinLicheng District and Zhangqiu Districtof Jinan City.The evolutionof the production-living-ecology space patern intheresearch area is influenced by multiple driving forces. Natural geographical factors arethe foundation and prerequisite,while socio-economic factors are the maindriving force. Governmentgovernancefactors indirectlyafect the evolutionofthe production-living-ecology space paternbyinfluencing socio-economic development.Regional gross domestic product(GDP)exerts the greatest influenceon the evolutionof production space. The average value of q ,which represents the degree to which the influencing factors explain the dependent variable is O.3427.Human activity intensity exerts thestrongest influenceonliving space evolution,withan average q value of O. 594 9. Elevation demonstrates the highest impact on ecological space evolution,with an average q (2号 value of 0. 249 1.
