Abstract:Toassess thechanges inseawater intrusion,thespatial characteristicsof waterchemistryintheunderground reservoirand its dowstream incoastal plains,andthe spatial distributionpaternsof soil salinityinthe unsaturated zone, the coastal plain ofLaizhou Cityand Wanghe Underground Reservoir area in Shandong Province were selectedasthe study area,based on groundwaterand soil monitoring data from 2O22and 2O23,multiple waterquality evaluation methods were employed,and hydrogeochemicalandsoil salinizationanalyses were conducted.Theresults show thatthe waterqualityin theundergroundreservoirareaisrelativelygood,withaspatial trendof slighttomoderatepollution from southeastto northwest.Outside thereservoir area,the groundwater in the downstream of Longwang Riverand Suguo River and the northeastern ofshore area shows adeteriorating trend,and the water chemistry type changes from being dominated by Ca-HCO 3 /S0 to being dominated by Ca-Cl.Aected byseawater intrusion,the soil salinization types inthe studyarea are mainlychloride-sulfate withobvious spatial diference.Within thereservoirarea,non-salineand weaklysaline soilsare predominant,and the degree of salinization is lower.
