Abstract:To achieve sustainable managementof river ecosystemsand enhance theobjectivityof evaluations,taking Shiwen River in Jinan City,Shandong Province asacase study,an evaluation systemcomprising 4criterionlayersofbasin, water,biology,and social service functions with 2O specific indicators was constructed.Acombined weighting methodof game theory integrating the improvedanalytic hierarchy processand entropy weight method was adopted to determine indicator weights,conduct a comprehensive evaluation on health status of Shiwen River using the extension matter element model,and identifyconstrainingfactorsafectingriverhealth.Theresultsshowthatthecombinedweighting methodeffectively integratessubjectiveandobjectiveweight information,overcoming the limitationsofsingle-weightingapproaches. The overall health status of Shiwen River is asessed as favorable.The sensitivity analysis reveals thatthe riparian zone naturalness index and the bandwidth index are key factors influencing river health.
