Abstract:Inresponse tothe severe incidence and management chalengesof strawberryanthracnose,this study targeted Coletotrichum siamense,thepathogenresponsiblefor thedisease.Weuseddualcultureand sealed-plateassays to screen for theefective biocontrol Trichoderma strain HB23422,whichexhibited strong antagonisticactivityagainst strawberryanthracnose,andwasidentied basedonmorphological characteristicsand molecular biologyasTrichoderma asperellum.OnPDA plates,HB23422exhibiteda strong inhibitory effect onColetotrichum siamense CM9,withan inhibition rate of more than 74.55% . Vitro leaf experiments and pot experiments showed that the spore suspension of this strain could efectively reduce the incidence of strawberry anthracnose.The strain HB 23422 grows rapidly,produces abundant spores,andhasexcelentdiseasecontroleficacy,indicatingitspotentialfordevelopmentas microbialpesticide for environment friendly control of strawberry anthracnose.
