Abstract:ToinvestigatethemetabolicdiferencesamongdiferentpartsofLonicerajaponicaThunb.,anontargeted metabolomics study was conducted onits stems,leaves,and flowers using ultra-high-performanceliquid chromatography tandem masspectrometry(UHPLC-MS/MS).Intotal,73 metabolites inpositive-ion mode and 572and 572 metabolites in negative-ionmode wereidentifiedinsamples fromdiferentpartsofL.japonica Thunb.;553diferential metabolites were detected by comparing leavesandflowers;and471diferential metabolites were detected bycomparing stemsandflowers, mainly phenolicacids,aminoacidsandtheirderivatives,flavonoids,andisoflavones.Thepathwaysrelatedtodiferential metaboites mainlyincludephenylpropanoid biosynthesis,flavonoidandflavonol biosynthesis,purinemetabolism,and anthocyanin biosynthesis.This studyanalyzedthe predominant compoundsand important metabolicpathways involved in diferentpartsofL.japonicaThunb.,i.e.,thestems,leaves,andflowers,comparing themwithmedicalyusedflowers.The findingsprovides ascientific basis for the further developmentand utilization of L.japonica Thunb.resources.
