Study ontheProtective Effect and Mechanism ofVitamin D3 on Septic Myocardial Injury in Young Rats

Abstract: Vitamin D3 helps control the body's immune system, fend off viral infections, prevent dendritic cell(DC) development and maturation,and lessen heart tissue damage inyoung rats with sepsis,a severe systemic infammatory response syndrome. Objective To analyze and explore the protective effect and mechanism of vitamin D3 on myocardial injury in septic youngrats.MethodEstablishasepsis model,observe the pathological changes inits cardiac tissue,and examine the levels ofanti-inflammatorycytokine IL-10and pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-12. Use flow cytometry to detect the expression levels of surface molecules CD83 and CD86 on dendritic cels (DCs) in rat heart.Immunobloting was used to detect the expression of vitamin Dreceptor (VDR)and nuclear transcription factor kB (NF- ⋅κB ),and one-way ANOVA and t-test were used for statistical analysis.ResultVitamin D3 can improve the morphologyofmyocardial tisse insepsis modelrats,raiseIL-1,lowerIL-12content,decrease theexpresionofcell surface markers CD86 and CD83,and raise VDR and NF- σ⋅κB .Conclusion Vitamin D3 can inhibit the activation of cardiac DCs in septic rats and alleviate the damage to cardiac tissue in young septic rats.
