Abstract : 【Objective】Ammonium nitrogen( NH4+ -N) nitrate nitrogen ( NO3- -N)are the two primary organic nitrogenmsabsorbedbyplants playcrucialroles plant growthdevelopment.Screng theoptimalnitrogen mratio pecan(Caryailoensis)growthcan provideatheoretical basis improvg its nitrogen useeffciency. 【Method】The experiment used 14-year-old pecan trees the C .illoensis‘Pawnee’cultivar asplant materials.Six treatments were established with NO -N to NH4+ -N mass ratios 100:0 (T1),72:25(T2), 50:50 (T3), 25:75 (2 3 (T4), 0:100 (T5), a no-nitrogen fertilizer control(CK).Variance analysis,correlation analysis, prcipal component analysis wereconductedonthe growth physiological characteristics pecan under diferent nitrogen m treatments toprelimarilydetermetheoptimalnitrogen mratio.【Result】Theresultsshowedthatthe T2treatment significantly creasedthecontentschlorophylla,chlorophyllb,totalchlorophyllpecanleaves,aswellasthe free amoacidcrude fatcontents the kermels.Under T3 treatment,tree heightdiameterat breast height growth weresignificantlyenhanced,ammoniumnitrogen content rootskernelswassignificantlyreduced,while ammonium nitrogen content leaves was significantly creased.T4 treatment significantly creased the soluble sugar content roots leaves,aswellasthesoluble protefre amo acidcontents both roots kernels.The T5 treatmentsignificantlycreasedthesolublesugarcontent thekernels.Corelationanalysisdicatedpositive relationships betweenthemajority themeasured parameters pecan.Prcipalcomponentanalysiscomprehensive evaluation revealedthat the T4 treatment wasmostconducive to promotg thegrowth development pecan. 【Conclusion】Throughtheanalysis growthphysiologicalcharacteristics,correlationanalysis,prcipal component analysis pecanunder diferent nitrogen mratio treatments,itwas foundthat the T4 treatment had the bestpromotg efectonthegrowthdevelopment pecan.Thisprovidesatheoreticalfoundation improvg nitrogen use efficiency pecan.
