Innovative Research on Pathways for Cultivating Traditional Chinese Medicine Thinking in Traditional Chinese Medicine Students from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence

Abstract：Traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） thinking is the core embodiment of TCM culture and an essential thinking forTCMstudents.The“New MedicalEducation”initiativerequires TCMcolegesanduniversities to strengthen thecultivation of students’TCM thinking and theirability to inherit TCMculture.Currntly，thepathways for cultivating students’TCM thinking in TCMcolegesand universitiesare faced with issues，such as the supporting systemof the curiculumsystem needs tobe improved，thesituational experience inclinical practice shouldbe strengthened，and the integrationof traditionalcultural education awaits enhancement.From the perspective of driving forcesfor innovativedevelopment in TCMthinking cultivation，the“New Medical Education”initiative derives its impetusfromthreedynamics：policy-driven mandates，practice-informedtraction，anddevelopment-oriented propulsion. To enhance theeficacyof TCM thinking cultivation，institutions should explore four implementation pathways：inter disciplinary convergence in education，AI-empowered practice，humanistic spirit immersion，and cultural confidence consolidation，cultivating foundationalcompetence inTCMthinking，toachievethe highqualitygrowthofTCMstudents.
