"Ti-Wei"and"Wan-Wei"： The Basic Spirit and Aesthetic Character of Chinese Martial Arts Body Aesthetics

Abstract： “Taste” is connected with the dual dimensions of existence and aesthetics， bearing the Chinese philosophy of life and aesthetic ideals.From a body perspective， Chinese Wushu kung fu is a“tasty form”of beauty.This kind ofbeauty，as a valuable object of taste，is constantly guided and shaped by the body's“taste”and “play".Taste， with its unique attitude， object， and method in the world，from the perspective of the body aesthetics of Chinese martial arts’“boxing flavor"，kung fu practice is a process of “understanding the flavor”.Through the foundation of the body pierced by small stones，one can understand the “flavor” of the moves; In the constantly searching body recognition，one knows the “taste”of strength; In the thought-provoking body image，one knows the “taste”of the image; In the deep expression of the body， one can understand the“taste”of the artistic conception. From the perspective of the physical aesthetic character of “boxing flavor” in Chinese martial arts， kung fu practice is also a process of“body art”. Through the pursuit of "simplicity” in the body，‘beauty”in the body，“play” in the body，and“taste” in the body， it is found that Chinese martial arts have a “boxing flavor” that pursues “naturalness”，"coherence”，"fun”， and“aesthetics”in the body.As a way of communication，‘taste”cannot be separated from personal interests and hobbies， but it always points to mutual achievement， which is a process of human kung fu and aestheticization.It can calm the body and mind， eliminate each other's status，and bring people closer to each other in cultural activitiest.Through the examination of "Ti-Wei"and"WanWei"， we can not only glimpse the richness of the spiritual life of trainees，calm their bodies and minds，eliminate their social status，and bridge the gap between us，but also appreciate their pursuit ofaesthetic character.
