Evolution， Coupling， and Symbiosis： A Study on the Integration of Sports Culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Since the Reform and Opening Up

Abstract： The sports culture of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture and traditional Lingnan culture，and its development trajectory has always kept pace with the process of reform and opening up. By using research methods such as literature review and investigation， the evolution process and value implications of the integration of sports culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area since the reform and opening up are sorted out，and the practical approaches are refined. Research suggests that since the reform and opening up， the integration of sports and culture in the Guangdong-Hong KongMacao Greater Bay Area has gone through three historical stages： the embryonic stage mainly based on people-to-people interaction （1978-1999）， the exploration stage mainly driven by policies （2000-2016），and the deepening stage mainly based on strategic coordination （from 2017 to the present）. The integration of sports and culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is the inevitable path for the strategic support of building a sports power， a natural choice for the innovative practice of regional coordinated development， an essential part of strengthening the recognition of regional traditional culture，and an important driving force for the transformation and upgrading of the regional economic structure. Looking forward to the future， we should take institutional and mechanism innovation as a breakthrough to build a new pattern of colaborative governance. Taking the integration of sports events as the carrier，create a new scene of cultural symbiosis; Empower with digital and intelligent technologies as the engine to cultivate new forms of sports culture. Based on the cultural identity of the youth，we should consolidate the new foundation for integrated development.
