A Brief Analysis of Library Science Works in the New book Promotion of the Journal of the Chinese Library Association

Abstract：The Journal ofthe Chinese Library Asociation （1925-1948）wasa representative academic journal in the field oflibraryscience during the Republicof China period.Its "New Book Introduction"column，with its systematicrecording feature，comprehensively preserved the publication landscape and academic evolution of library science works during that period，providing core literaturesupport for retracing the development history of the discipline.Taking the 465 library science works included in this column as research samples，this paper sorts out the classificationof library science works duringthe Republic of China period，analyzes theoverallcharacteristics of the publication pattm of these works;from the research perspective of knowledge production and dissemination，it explores the academic influence and knowledge radiation efect of the works，and excavates the core value of these works in laying the theoretical foundation of the library science discipline，innovating professonal methods，and leading industry practice，clearly revealing the development trajectoryof the library science discipline during the Republic of China period，and providing solid historical references and theoretical guidances forcontemporary library science research.
