Abstract:A driling simulation model of P2O mold steel was established based on the finite element analysis software DEFORM,and the drilling process was simulated using finite element method to study the chip morphology,stress changes,and temperature distribution during the drilling process. By setting different spindle speeds and feed rates,the influence laws on driling force were analyzed. The results indicate that as the spindle speed and feed rate increase, the cutting force also increases.
