Abstract: The performance of drill bits is directly related to processing efficiency and product quality. The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of mold technology optimization and material selection on the performance of drill bits. Through the integration of theoretical analysis,numerical simulation,and experimental verification, this study explores the optimization scheme of mold design and the optimal material selection strategy. The results showed that using optimized conformal cooling mold technology reduced cutting force by about 15% and extended tool life by 50% . After combining with nanocrystalline hard alloy materials,the cutting force further decreased by 20% ,the tool life increased by 100% ,and the wear amount decreased by 43% .In addition, optimized molds and materials have improved the thermal stability of the drill bit,reducing the average temperature by 20% and narrowing the temperature fluctuation range to .Research has shown that the synergistic effect between mold technology optimization and material selection can enhance the overall performance of drill bits.
