Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze efects caragliflozinand empagliflozinon inflammatory markers,glucose and lipid metabolismandmiR-144expressioninobese patients with type2diabetes melitus (T2DM).MethodsAtotal148obese T2DM patients admited toour hospitalfrom June 2O21 to May2O24 were selectedand divided intocaragliflozin group andempagliflozin groupbyrandom number tablemethod.The twogroupswere treatedwith canagliflozin and empagliflozinonbasisconventional treatmentfor6months.Theinflammatoryindicators,glucosemetabolism indicators,lipidmetabolismindicatos,micrRN-144 (miR-144)expreion,bodmassindex (BMI),clicalfcacyd incidence adverse reactions were comparedbetween two groups.ResultsAfteratotal 7cases were excluded during treatmentperiod,rewere71casesincaraglflozingroupand7Ocasesinempagliflozingroup.After treatment, levels tumor necrosis factor- α ,interleukin-6,C-reactive protein,fasting blood glucose (FBG),2 h postprandialbloodglucose(2-PPG),glycosylatedhemoglobin(HbAlc),riglyeride(TG),totalcholesterol,lowdesity lipoprotein cholesterol,BMIandmiR-144 expression werelowerthanthosebefore treatmentintwogroupspatients( P< 0.05),and levels FBG, 2h -PPG,HbA1c,TG and miR-144 expression were lower in caragliflozin group than those empagliflozin group ( P<0.05 ).After treatment,high density lipoprotein cholesterol was higher than that before treatment in two groups ( P<0.05 ),and that in canagliflozin group was higher than empagliflozin group ( P<0.05 ) There were nosignificantdifferences inclinical eficacyand incidenceadversereactionsbetweentwogroups after treatment ( P>0.05 ).ConclusionBoth caragliflozin and empagliflozin have certain rapeutic eficacy and good safety for obese T2DM patients,and caragliflozin is more effective in improving glucose and lipid metabolism.
