Synergism of Lecithin ·Vitamin E 3% SE on Three Chemical Herbicides for the Control of Solidago canadensis L.

Abstract:Toclarifywhether lecithin ⋅⋅ vitamin E 3% SE combined could improve the control efficacy of three chemical herbicides on invasive weed Solidago canadensis L.,including isoxafenacil ·glyphosate 31% OD,oxyfluorfen·glyphosate 40% WP,and glyphosate ⋅⋅ triclopyr 70% SP.Therefore,a field experiment was conducted in abandoned farmland in Nanjing during 2O24. Results showed that lecithin ⋅ vitamin E3% SE significantly enhanced control efficacy of all three herbicides against S . canadensis L.,particularly during the early stage from 3 to15 days after application.The addition of lecithin·vitamin E 3% SE significantly enhanced injury comprehensive index of isoxafenacil ⋅⋅ glyphosate with the most significantly increase at3days and 5 days after application,reaching 13.15 and 16.56 percentage points,respectively.The synergism of the other two herbicideswas similar withan increase ranging between 2.02% and 9. 51% from 3 to 67 days after application.While all three tested herbicides added lecithin·vitamin E 3% SE,plant height of S.canadensisL.significantly reducedat15,34 daysafterapplication,with reduction of 8.41%-16.57%compared to the herbicidesalone.At15daysafter application,fresh weight control was significantly improved by4.10-13.98 percentage points.Moreover,theaddition of lecithin·vitamin E 3% SE markedly inhibited emergence and growth of S .canadensis seedlings,mainly reflected in a significant reduction in seedling density.At67and115daysafterapplication,theseedling numberofcombination treatments wassignificantly reduced by 10.65%-28.49% compared to herbicide alone treatments,with additional suppressive effects on plant height.Theexperimental results indicated that control eficacy of chemical herbicides combined with lecithin ⋅⋅ vitamin E 3% SE on S . canadensis L. was improved.
