Abstract：Pyroxasulfonehasgained significantatention worldwideinrecent years.Thisstudy exploreedthepatentsof pyroxasulfoneandpyroxasulfone patents filedby Kumiai Chemical Industry Co.，Ltd.（hereinafterreferred toas “ Kumiai"）against multipledomesticand international enterprisesas a starting point.This study analysised Kumiai patentsstrategy for pyroxasulfone through two critical dimensions：multi-dimensional protection scope constructio and dynamic temporal patent portfolio deeply.The analysisaimed to provideactionable guidance for Chinese agricultural technology innovators to avoid patent infringement risks when developing pyroxasulfone-related productsand provide reference for enterprises to enhance their patent portfolio capabilities also.
