【Abstract】With the global aging of population,osteoporosis,as a common bone metabolic disease,has become a significant challenge in public health forits treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine has playedan important role in thetraditional treatment of osteoporosisdue to itsunique therapeutic concepts and abundant herb resources.It is very important to explore the application of Chinese herbs and their components in the treatment of osteoporosis,especially to analyze their potential mechanisms of action from the perspectives of modern pharmacologyand molecular biology. By reviewing relevant literature,the efects of Chinese herb components on key signaling pathways (such as Wntβ- catenin,Notch,MAPK,etc.)are summarized,as wellas how these pathways regulate bone metabolism and osteocyte activity.Inaddition,theadvantagesand limitationsofChinese herbsand conventional drugs inthetreatmentofosteoporosis were compared and the potential value of Chinese herbs in clinical application explored.Although Chinese herbsshowaprospect inthe treatment ofosteoporosis,therearestill challenges suchas standardizationof components and determination of dosage.Future research should be dedicated toaddressng these issues and exploring the mechanismof action of Chinese herbs in the treatment of osteoporosis,providing a new perspective for future research and clinical practice.
