Abstract: Plant growth-promotingrhizobacteria (PGPR),agroupof microorganisms exhibitingremarkable growth-promotingand biocontrolactiviisanancesoilutrientavalablityromotepantdevelopment,ndonerprotectioagaistpntase andinsectpeststhroughnitrogen fixation,solublizationof phosphorusandpotassium,biosynthesisof plant hormones,and productionofsiderophores.Mechanisms bywhich plant growth-promoting hizobacteria influenceplant growthanddevelopment throughdirectorindirecteffectsarecomprehensivelyeviewedintispaper.Tepotentalandadvantagesofplantgrowtrooting rhizobacteriainpromotingtobaco(NcotianatabacumL.rowthviamultiplemechanisms,icludingtrogenfiation,poorus solubilizatiootoioisisdltiofbotic,reald.Frte,tatu of practicallyapplied plant growth-promotingrhizobacteria influe-curedtobao,clasified basedonfunctionssuchasnutritional growth promoonddaseadptstae,isued.eanilkeysssndrspodngotemesusding theapplicationofplant growth-promotingrhizobacteriaintobaccoaresummarized.Finall,thecurentchalengesandfuture development trends of PGPR are prospected,aiming to provide references for tobacco production and diseasecontrol.
