Abstract:Fermentationisacucialstepintheproductionofcigartobaccoleaves,playingapivotalrole inehancingcigartobacco leavesqualityandshapingcigarcharacterstics.However,due totherelativelylate developmentofdomesticcigartobaco production,unclear fermentation mechanismsand techniques haveconstrained fermentationqualityand product applicationof cigar tobacco.Thispaper systematicallysummarizes thecurrent stateofcigartobaccoleaves fermentation,andelaboratesonthe fundamentalandappliedresearchfiningsofcigartobaccoleavesfermentationfromtheaspectsofmechanism,influencingfactors, conventionalandcharacteristictechiques.Aditionally,suggestionsandresearchdirectionsforcigartbaccfermentationwere proposed based on practical production needs,aiming to contribute to the development of the domesticcigar industry.
