Research on the Utilization and Support Demands of Foreign Literature in University Library From the Perspective of Users： a Case Study of Nanjing University Library

AbstractForeign literature isan importantpartof theliterature informationresource system ofuniversitylibraries.It isimportantforuniversitylibraries todeveloptheforeignliteraturebygraspingtheusers’demandforforeignliterature intime.Taking Nanjing UniversityLibraryasan example，this studycollcts relevantdataofusers through questionnaire survey，analyzes thecharacteristics ofuniversity libraryusers in terms ofutilizationofforeign literatureand support demands，and analyzes the causes.This study puts forward some ideas on foreign literature supporting in university libraries： building a multi-level and diversified foreign literature resource structure，establishing an integrated foreign literature support system，and enhancing the interaction efficiency between library and users.
